Created in 1933 by faculty to recognize and promote scholarship in the liberal arts and modeled after Phi Beta Kappa, the Honor Society is and maintained by faculty and staff who are themselves members. The students were inducted as part of Heidelberg's Academic Excellence Recognition Dinner on Feb. 25. Also recognized were seniors in the Honors program and seniors who have earned dean's list recognition in each of their semesters at Heidelberg.
