Darcianne Allen cast in Heidelberg University production of 'Young Frankenstein'

Darcianne Allen of Marysville, Ohio, has been cast in the upcoming production of “Young Frankenstein,” a collaboration of Heidelberg University and the Ritz Players.

The monster musical comedy based on the book and movie by Mel Brooks will be staged Oct. 31 and Nov. 1-3 at the Ritz Theatre for the Performing Arts in Tiffin. Chris Tucci, director and professor of theatre at Heidelberg is directing with choreography by Kathy Miller, musical direction by Michael Anders and accompaniment by Greg Ramsdell, director of choral activities at Heidelberg.

Allen, a senior majoring in Music, has been cast in the role of Elizabeth Benning.
