Heidelberg honors Clayton Staib as scholar-athlete

Heidelberg University presented Landess Scholar-Athlete Awards to 148 students at halftime of the men's basketball game Feb. 18.

Clayton Staib (football), a junior Health and Human Performance major from Minerva, Ohio, was among the students honored for their achievements in the classroom as well as on the athletic field for the fall semester.

The Landess Awards were created by William Landess, a 1995 Heidelberg alumnus and member of the university's Board of Trustees, to honor student-athletes who achieve a minimum 3.0 GPA during their semester of competition.
