Joshua Springer Inducted Into Business Honorary at Heidelberg University

Joshua Springer, a junior from Alliance, Ohio, is among 14 students from Heidelberg university inducted into Tau Pi Phi, the national business honorary. Springer is a junior majoring in Accounting.

The students were inducted during a ceremony on April 24 on campus. To qualify, students must have completed 20 hours in the School of Business and maintain a 3.0 or higher grade-point average.

Tau Pi Phi, in its 41st year at Heidelberg, recognizes and honors students for high academic achievement in business administration, accounting and economics. The honorary encourages the highest ethical canons in business and fosters the social nature of business. Its threefold ideals are: industry and fidelity; intelligence and science; and prosperity and service.

Founded in 1850, Heidelberg offers 32 majors, 29 minors and nine pre-professional programs, awarding the bachelor of arts, bachelor of science and bachelor of music degrees , as well as master's degrees in education, counseling, business administration and music.
