Katrina Cartwright Selected to Serve as Orientation Leader at Heidelberg University

Katrina Cartwright of Johnstown, Ohio, has been selected to serve as an Orientation Leader at Heidelberg University this summer.

Cartwright, a sophomore majoring in political science, has joined 25 other Orientation Leaders whose job is to provide new students and their parents a welcoming and informative orientation experience. Orientation Leaders serve as resources throughout the three summer orientation sessions, answering questions, providing directions and assisting new students as they register for classes.

Orientation Leaders are selected based on their abilities in leadership, dedication to Heidelberg, integrity, responsibility, academic achievement, cheerfulness, maturity and interpersonal skills.

Heidelberg, founded in 1850, offers 36 courses of study in 19 major fields of concentration, awarding the bachelor of arts, bachelor of science, bachelor of music, as well as master's degrees in education, counseling, business administration and music.
