Kelly Devine cast in Heidelberg University production of 'Shrek the Musical'

Kelly Devine of Hillsboro, Ohio, has been cast in Heidelberg University's upcoming production of Shrek the Musical, which will be staged next month at the historic Ritz Theatre for the Performing Arts in downtown Tiffin.

Devine, a senior majoring in Music, will play the role(s) of the Fairy Godmother, Mice 1 and Bulebird. The cast is largely comprised of Heidelberg students who will join other cast members from the Ritz Players for the lively fairy-tale story based on the popular Dreamworks movie. Shrek the Musical is directed by Chris Tucci, associate professor of theatre and director of theatre at Heidelberg. Dr. Greg Ramsdell, director of choral activities and assistant professor of music education, is the musical director. Adjunct instructor Vanessa Cook is handling costume design.
