Kelly Devine performing with Heidelberg University Concert Choir

Kelly Devine, a senior from Hillsboro, Ohio, has been selected to perform in the 2015-16 academic year with Heidelberg University's Concert Choir.

Devine, who is majoring in Music, is one of 56 members of the Concert Choir, the premiere vocal ensemble at Heidelberg. Open to students of all majors, the choir rehearses three times each week and performs in concert and for campus events throughout the year. Highlighting the performance season is a domestic tour in the spring and a performance of Handel's Messiah as part of Heidelberg's annual Christmas Concert at the Ritz Theatre for the Performing Arts in Tiffin.

The choir's first concert this academic year will be Nov. 8 at First Congregational Church in Mansfield, Ohio. Under the direction of Dr. Greg Ramsdell, director of choral activities and associate professor of choral music education, the choir's program is developed around the theme Sun, Moon and Stars.
