Rebecca Dickinson to give senior Honors presentation at Heidelberg University

2013 Nov 18

Heidelberg University student Rebecca Dickinson of Middelburg Heights, Ohio, is preparing to present her senior Honors presentation next week.

During their final year, students enrolled in “The Life of the Mind” Honors Program complete a senior honors project with a faculty mentor of their choice. This project usually derives from a student's major field and individualizes and deepens a student's understanding of a topic of compelling interest in her or his major.

Dickinson, who is majoring in History, will present on Ohio Museums: What Have They Faced, What Have They Changed and Will They Survive?.

Founded in 1850, Heidelberg offers 32 majors, 30 minors and 10 pre-professional programs, awarding the bachelor of arts, bachelor of science, bachelor of music degrees, as well as master’s degrees in education, counseling, business administration and music. Affiliated with the United Church of Christ, Heidelberg has been ranked for 26 consecutive years as one of the top colleges in the Midwest by U.S. News and World Report.
