Robert Fruscella Performing with Heidelberg U. Symphonic Band

Robert Fruscella, a sophomore from Streetsboro, Ohio, is performing this year with the Heidelberg University Symphonic Band.

Fruscella, who plays the trumpet, is one of 42 band members selected by audition to play campus concerts, festival, convention and tour concerts. The band's literature is chosen from standard and contemporary band repertoire, utilizing various instrumental combinations. The director is Dr. John E. Owen, professor of trumpet, director of Heidelberg School of Music and director of bands.

Founded in 1850, Heidelberg offers 36 courses of study in 19 major fields of concentration, awarding the bachelor of arts, bachelor of science, bachelor of music, as well as master's degrees in education, counseling, business administration and music.
